“Fashion Forties” by Beatrice Brandini
I was invited to the preview of the exhibition “Light on the ‘900’ exhibition will run until March 8, 2015 at the Gallery of Modern Art, Pitti Palace and celebrating the anniversary of the hundred years since its founding.
The 900 was a crucial century in the history of mankind. A century marked by discoveries, conflicts, destruction and reconstruction, transformation and much more … and an ART which, with its connotation and research, has given the way to our contemporary world. Read more

“Gymnasium” by Beatrice Brandini
I’ve already talked about how widely, particularly in recent years, the boundaries between fashion and sport have approached. Many indeed are the collaborations between fashion designers and sports brands, including designers, artists ….; many fashion shows in which also carry the luxury fashion house runway garments from the impression technique or even just borrowed from sports, such as sneakers, jackets, sweatshirts, woven mesh type, neoprene, nylon, polyester …., thanks to greater freedom to interpret the fashion and a new concept of “elegance”. “The pumpkin is beautiful” Beatrice Brandini
Halloween: no one can say or tell you, especially you kids, “if you aren’t good you will get the black man….” Thanks to this festival the children can exorcise a lot of their fears, living with monsters, ghosts, skeletons, spiders and more. Read more

When I was studying fashion was fascinated, but I could tell almost enchanted, by the pictures of Guy Bourdin. They were not “just” fashion photographs, but frames stolen from a movie, surrealist tales, enchanted visions. Read more
Poster: “Picasso and the Spanish modernity”
“Dora” by Beatrice Brandini
Situated in Florence’s Palazzo Strozzi, there is an interesting exhibition devoted to Picasso: “Picasso and the Spanish modernity.” Talk about Picasso is too easy (or difficult, depending on the views and expectations that you have), certainly is a risk of trivializing a very complex figure.

“Medea” by Beatrice Brandini
In Florence, in the magical setting of Palazzo Pitti, there is a beautiful exhibition dedicated to one of the greatest Italian costume designers: Piero Tosi. A teacher who has worked with Pasolini, Visconti, Zeffirelli … with them has created important costumes, beautiful, poetic and theatrical, but also very MODERN, giving added value to the film in which they were the protagonists. “Amélie in Paris” by Beatrice Brandini
Here we are with the final round of fashion shows Spring / Summer 2015 Paris stage. Paris …. beautiful and fascinating city, with its women très charmantes …. Yes, because if it is true that there are beautiful women everywhere, as well as well dressed and charming…, it is also true that French women, in particular those Parisian have a really special allure, unique, instantly recognizable.

“I love shopping” by Beatrice Brandini
Here is the second part of the appointment with the Milan runway for next Spring / Summer. It seems impossible given the excellent level of the first part, but maybe this second “edition-part” is even more “surprising.” Fashion shows really beautiful with lots of ideas, proposals for many different women, hard not to accommodate and satisfy them with this fashion! “Emma in Milan” by Beatrice Brandini
“I have not seen on TV, Bombay, Bali …” “Milan, Milan dear….” Mr. Incredible and Edna in the movie “The Incredibles.”
It also ended the fashion shows in Milan and I must say that it was the most beautiful ever. Probably I’m a little biased, but really I’ve seen gorgeous collections in Milan, a very powerful impact creative but, as always, also salable, that is one of the most difficult and sought-after. Italian fashion made of excellence (fabrics, yarns, embroidery, manufacturing, creative, tailors, pattern makers, shoes, glove makers) has the ability to make great products that then someone will wear.
