Stazione Leopolda in Florence presented Pitti Fragranze, the best in the international scene of designer perfumery, this year broadening its horizons with skincare and wellness exhibitors.
Some extraordinary bottles displayed as true works of art
This salon precisely captures the trends and innovation of the contemporary olfactory universe. There were 185 leading brands, with approx. 74% international attendance.
The theme of this edition was Perception Reinvented, that is, an investigation into the way of perceiving the world of perfume, not only through images, words or sounds, but also through new technologies such as artificial intelligence, which redefine the way of recognizing it and feel it.
Carola fra i trulli.: I was very struck by the passion of this elegant interior architect, Carola Altamura, who has emotional (and olfactory) roots in Puglia and who, through a journey to the trulli of the Itria Valley, has created beautiful room fragrances. Artisanal ceramics, colors and scents of the native flora of central Puglia complete the circle of this very interesting brand and project.
Lila Franklin: refined brand of fragrances completely made in Italy, each object is made by hand, respecting nature and sustainability.
Kysh cosmetics: the first revolutionary Italian premium intimate skincare brand. A series of products and cosmetics for the well-being of the female intimate area. 100% Italian supply chain, in order to guarantee excellent control and quality. The creative soul of the brand is Alessia Kish, the beating heart of a project that I perceived from the same emotion as her, like a treasure.
FumparFum: conceptual perfumery. The founder and perfumer Aistis Mickevicius, artist, actor and DJ, creates perfume sketches in which botanical and molecular combinations create original, almost “theatrical” fragrances.
Shauran Paris: A Shauran teaching says that “The soul of beings is their smell”. This is why Shauran Niche Perfume has been enhancing people’s characters by touching their souls and feelings for more than 70 years.
Vertus: Pioneer in prestigious perfumes since 1996, perfects and promotes “The Art of Scent”. Highly prized raw materials, bottles like true art objects.
Acqua di Noto: in one of the most beautiful and evocative places in the world, Noto in Sicily, this artistic perfumery project was born, with the aim of spreading the beauty and the well-made no longer just Made in Italy, but in particular Made in Sicily . Very evocative and poetic.
Estoras: Founded by Paul-Anton Esterházy, a tribute to his grandfather, Prince Antal Esterházy, nomadic and eclectic traveller, refined and adventurous. All qualities that we find in the olfactory notes of these fragrances.
Ciatu: in Sicilian means breath, and it’s all contained in this suggestive name. The soul of Sicily and its breath. Andrea Spatola, creator of this exciting project, wants to enhance his land through the creation of unique and exclusive cosmetic products. Natural ingredients such as olive oil and wildflower honey in the skincare, notes of orange, lemon, almond and orange blossom in the fragrances.

Campomarzio70 distribution: a true story of Italian passion, handed down through four generations, dedicated to the search for extraordinary perfumes and “noses”, a point of reference not only for those who love perfumes, but also for those who create them. The history of HFC is interesting: a team of talented perfumers and artists passionate about art and fragrances create a series of almost Limited Edition perfumes.
