The result, as Comte himself stated at the press conference, “is a collective work of art, which blends different cultures and personalities, and creates pure magic”. A single installation in ten acts that leaves the comfort zone of fashion, to explore languages ranging from performance to video, from drawing to photography.

“The clothing sculptures created by our students, strategically positioned in an 18th century theatre, in the shadow of the Duomo, are a form of contemporary expression that opens a temporal dialogue with the space that surrounds them. They are a way to think about our identity, to develop greater awareness, and perhaps even give life to the fashion of the future” Danilo Venturi director of the IED in Florence.

An interesting initiative, in conjunction with Pitti Uomo, which demonstrates, once again, how Florence is projecting itself ever further forward.
