“Enchanted Forest”, mood by Beatrice Brandini
The Milanese catwalks have just ended, buyers, stylists, models etc. now they will move towards the Ville Lumière.
For the first time, I must say that I have not seen particularly innovative things, it seems to me that brands and designers have settled into a particularly comfortable zone, depriving Made in Italy of its usual creativity and innovation. The fashion shows confirmed excellent fabrics, exceptional cuts and fits, but in my opinion, the surprise effect that Milan has always given us was a bit missing.
As usual, below I have collected the trends that we will see in shop windows and magazines from August onwards.
I’ll start with VIOLET. A touch of purple cannot be missing, be it the color of the total look, or simply that of an accessory (the Prada hats are amazing). Purple, sangria, amethyst, orchid, mauve, iris… this shade, in its countless shades, will be one of the protagonists of next winter.

CRAZY ABOUT FUR. Everyone’s crazy about fur! Exclusively (or almost) ecological, increasingly beautiful and similar to the real ones; very soft, colourful, oversized, vintage. The fur coat will be indispensable and in fact it will not only be for special occasions, but can easily replace the classic coat. It made me think of the atmosphere that Newton was able to create in his wonderful photos.

ENCHANTED FOREST Another very strong trend will be that linked to shades, textures, patterns (print, embroidery or jacquard…), linked to the “forest” and nature. A thousand shades of green and autumn brown, with styles such as coats, capes, parkas. The fabrics are warm and enveloping, sometimes characterized by manual interventions such as applications and embroidery. It becomes a luxurious and wonderfully wearable casual. All very beautiful.

For the moment I’ll stop here, but we’ll see more good things…
Good life to everyone!
