Pitti Bimbo Nr. 96: YOU ARE LOVED!

“Dolcezza” by Beatrice Brandini

Stuffed animal by JellyCat London

This edition of Pitti Bimbo has also ended, letting us discover some nice surprises!

As always, I start with a roundup of images taken from the fair, of what I liked the most, inserting trend moods, already thinking about the next Autumn – Winter.

MOU London brand that produces original footwear, handmade in natural fibers, a return to nature that starts from the shoes. Comfortable and beautiful, perfect for feeling free and “wild”.

My first Snow: the first snow, an unforgettable emotion. The mountain wardrobe and for when it’s cold, today more and more performing and above all incredibly beautiful, colorful and comfortable.

MC2 Saint Barth, a brand that constantly expands its collections / offers by doing it the right way. This snow proposal for kids is very nice, with timeless mascots like Snoopy (irresistible), colorful, fun, it’s just how I would like to see my son in the snow.

Dixie girl, dedicated to the Dixie women of tomorrow, with the same mood of patterns, colors, cuts, but above all with the same message as always: “Be yourself” because it’s good to understand it from an early age!

Kokka girl, perfect harmony with the women’s collection, attention to details and materials used, very feminine but in a modern and contemporary way. Perfect outerwear.

Ambarabá, this Puglia brand deserves an extra word that with passion, effort and honesty carries on its philosophy, but above all the taste and strength of Made in Italy in the world. I had a chat with the patron, Mr. Pino, and I understood, should it still be needed, that these small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, the fundamental voice of the Italian GDP, are stoic because they do everything by themselves, with the same sentiment and the same creativity that got them started decades ago. There are no discounts, and for many years I’ve been wondering why the Italian system doesn’t work to protect textile excellence, and not only, as in other parts of the world.

Miss Blumarine collections for little princesses, romantic and glamorous, same philosophy as the Blumarine brand but in a petite key.

JellyCat London adorable soft toys, for little ones but, why not, also for adults. We all need sweetness and these irresistible friends give them plenty.

Cool School creative and fun items for school. Choosing your own kit of pencils, pencil cases, diaries is an extraordinary moment that little students will remember for a long time.

MOLO creative and innovative Scandinavian brand. “Easy”, everyday pieces, but all full of details and very cool!

Dolce & Gabbana a mountain cottage full of fantasy; lumberjack shirts, Norwegian patterned sweaters and a touch of romance.

Hanssop Italian and Portuguese production for this delightful Dutch brand of children’s linen. Pajamas with perfect laces, mother-of-pearl buttons, ruffles and hand-sewn trimmings. I met its founder, Ingrid, a perfect hostess and manager, romantic, passionate and authentic.

KIMINI another little jewel. The idea is to create a small luxury kimono as an iconic and wearable piece even outside the sporting context. Very refined project. Spending a chat with the landlady, I understood all the passion behind it. Good luck from the bottom of my heart!

Antony Morato: freedom, the keyword for expressing one’s creativity and taste. Contemporary and wearable look, attention to details and fabrics. Passion from South to North, even outside the Italian borders.

Please Kids practical and always trendy collection. Characterized by that slightly street taste that has made the brand great.

Monnalisa historic brand of high-end childrenswear. Precious princess dresses full of details, they are, every time, a small collector’s item, to be kept for the next generation, as beautiful things never pass away.

I have prepared some moods for the next winter season, a forecast for Autumn – Winter 2023 -24

New Eccentric Aristocratic mood by Beatrice Brandini

New Eccentric Aristocratic British theme, with quirky touches. Precious materials, such as tartan wool and tweed. Jewel buttons in garments with a traditional and slightly masculine taste. Curled, felted wool, lots of jacquard and velvet. Colors linked to nature, such as moss green, bark green, marron glacé, ocher yellow, pomegranate orange.

Abstract mood by Beatrice Brandini

Abstract geometric theme, in which inlaid or printed patterns are the real protagonists. Faux fur, stripes, abstract doodle-like designs. Psychedelic colors together with fuchsia, black, ink blue. Straight cuts, almost unisex.

Little Woodman mood by Beatrice Brandini

Little Woodman lumberjack theme, characterized by cuddly styles, such as turtleneck sweaters, corduroy jackets, soft trousers. Fleece, ribbed and cable knitwear. Timeless classic taste, always elegant and timeless. Colors: lots of brown, from pine bark to toffee, from burnt earth to forest green.

Smart mood by Beatrice Brandini

Smart: a theme that does not follow a specific style but is pure anarchy, crazy and creative. Sportswear taste, but unusual in the choice of materials and shapes. Many surrealist and extravagant fantasies, almost artisanal, almost artistic. Palette of pink and purple, from baby to candy, from cardinal to pastel. Over cuts.

Good life to everyone!

Beatrice
