Banner Pitti Filati
Made in Highland mood board by Beatrice Brandini
It ended a few days ago the most important event at the international level of the yarn for knitting, Pitti Immagine Filati, with a preview of the Fall / Winter 2015-16. The 116 brands, of which 21 are foreign, a real tribute to the excellence of the raw materials, the ability to create effects, colors, softness, finishing, processing every season …. more amazing.
As always, the space research was very interesting, this season explored with the icon phrase MADE IN, ie the added value of the product quality, certificate, Italian excellence (and not only) that values the differences between the national, regional and local peculiarity. I have already spoken in many post and I’m glad it’s become something of a mantra, in a few words what distinguishes us and that we should exploit to overcome the crisis, but also to make us more aware, confident and proud of ourselves and our value. Made in Italy, despite the relocation and the relentless and excellent international acquisitions, continues to be a flagship and confirmation that our factories, our artisans, our small and large textile companies, are unique in the world. Pitti Filati is yet another confirmation.
Here are the images of Space Research (under the artistic direction of Angelo Figus), in which ten Mood guidance facilitated the buyers around the world to build his personal Made in … From here I start I also trying to go “beyond”, with ten other inspirational mood accompanied by sketches and evocative images. In this post the first five, the other in the next post ever on Pitti Filati.

Another very interesting project was that involving the Denim Italiano – Italian Denim denim makers in collaboration with Milano Unica, an area dedicated to the interesting chain of garment washed Italian and to its natural interantional projection. Four themes in question, True, Gym, D-segno and Tailoring, developed by 7 Italian designers. I photographed what impressed me the most.
On stage samples of clothing and accessories that can be applied to the denim. Important to emphasize that Italy also has a chain of demin among the most important in the world.

Proposals E. Miroglio. The first photo is one of the pieces I liked most, a sixties coat, cuts and application of mesh fabric, yarn “spongy” effect and a shade of beige and gold “dirty”, very nice.
Proposals E. Miroglio, still effects fur but not folklore, very stylish, thanks to the cool shades and ice. Beautiful the first tunic with the “ostrich” effect.
In the coming days the second part, many new proposals for emerging designers really very interesting.
Good life to all!
