In this edition, the space research, entrusted to the artistic direction of Angelo Figus and Nicola Miller, has as its central theme the Italian spirit, understood as excellence and pride of Made in Italy. MAGLIAITALIA, this is the name of the theme, is a journey through the atmosphere of our country, its suggestions visual, tactile, sensory, auditory. Made in Italy through its main characteristics and its strengths, those that have made it known throughout the world, as its great history, its magnificent sites and monuments, tradition, craftsmanship, style, quality of its raw materials, visions and sensations able to leave the territorial boundaries and excite the whole world.

I reinterpreted some Themes / Atmospheres of Space Research, creating personal Mood Board.
Good Morning Ma’am , Italy as timeless elegance, a little ‘retro’, a little ‘shabby. Mood Board by Beatrice Brandini
Painted blue, what color is identified and is combined with the Summer but the Blue? and as a symbol but the sea … Italian! Mood Board by Beatrice Brandini

The Street, in Space research was a symbol of protest and then “punk”, in my mood change completely “meaning” and become the road as a symbol of the territory, a territory as amazing as the Italian one. Mood Board by Beatrice Brandini
Ciao Bella, the Latin lover, the beautiful Mediterranean women, symbols of an Italian timeless. Mood Board by Beatrice Brandini
The Café, through one of its symbols par excellence, the espresso, recovering places and spaces, sipping coffee. Family and Friendship as universal values. Mood Board by Beatrice Brandini

Also interesting the project by relevance to the Italian chain of denim: Denim Italiano – Italian Denim, a project born thanks to the collaboration between Pitti Immagine and Milano Unica. Thirty companies representing the best of the Italian chain of jeans, offering their collections / products, ranging from the raw material (fabric), accessories, washes, prints …

Another interesting presentation is, like last year, the project: FUTURISTIC FASHION. That is a transversal project that enhances the expertise of companies that adhere to the same, with a willingness to experiment, without forgetting the territoriality and craftsmanship. The coordinator and creator of the project, Dyloan Studio, works with companies that are part of it, Clouds, Mely’s Millefili, Filpucci, etc., along with young designers.
