Ended fashion shows in Milan for the Spring Summer 2016 were as always very interesting, full of inspiration, creativity, talent and excellence. Ideas, materials and workmanship, confirming that the Made in Italy with its fashion is really important, one of the pillars of our economy and a pride of our country (even if our leadership is often “deaf” and absent).
I picked the ones that seemed to me the most significant trends from the runways. I know that we are pulling out the coats, but it’s nice, even through fashion, think that summer is never over and that soon begin again to ” undress “with magnificent clothes ….
The real leitmotiv of the season FREEDOM, that’s good to be free to decide and to choose what to wear, what love, what to buy for valorize, favoring our personality. This is the trend from some seasons, finally we have realized that with fashion is nice to play!
Mood Board “Leather” Beatrice Brandini
Everyone, absolutely everyone, have proposed LEATHER … with inserts, embroidered, laser, suede, “abused”. With the leather I saw beautiful creations , effects that instead of leather, python, suede, seemed fabric. Bomber jackets, coats, skirts or dresses in leather will be the must-have for next season.

Another very strong trend, what I call “Art”, is to create clothes as if they were works of art. I do not speak of beauty and skill in achieving them, but fantasies, pattern, applications, prints, embroideries that seem to come from an Academy of Fine Arts. Art defiles fashion (hooray!), Fashion defiles the art. Abstraction, Pop Art, Action Painting, Op Art, the artistic influences longer present.

Another important presence is that of the lace. For a touch of romance, as opposed to the previous two trends much more “wild” and colorful. A desire for femininity that, through this beautiful fabric, occurs gently. Although the interpretation view on Milan catwalks see the lace protagonists in a modern and less obvious way.

I love the stripe, especially in Summer, fortunately for next season we will have to go crazy as they will be everywhere! Classic stripes, marinate, conceptual, artistic, romantic, exotic, retro ‘, vintage, ironic. Many proposals and truly amazing.

One of the colors present is surely the orange, it declined in all its shades, ranging from brick red. I don’t like particularly this color, I confess, but I strongly believe in his “power” vitamin and optimistic. If then someone like Armani, with his Emporio, it offers so, W orange!

Fashion Is very beautiful, it makes us dream, and rewards us proud, as well as provide jobs for thousands of people. I wish that Made in Italy remain such and not a Made in Italy without the ITALY word.
